The GL-WS60/120 seismograph is a wideband, high-sensitivity seismograph with a highly stable transfer function, suitable for broadband seismic observation. The GL-WS60/120 seismograph consists of three independently directional sensors (one vertical and two horizontal) integrated into a single unit, incorporating electronic feedback circuitry, control circuitry, power conversion circuitry, and calibration circuitry. It utilizes a precision capacitive displacement transducer and force-balanced electronic feedback technology, resulting in low noise and a wide dynamic range. The GL-WS60/120 seismograph features a built-in motor zeroing mechanism for remote zero-point monitoring and zeroing; it also includes a built-in calibration coil and calibration circuitry for remote calibration; and it automatically starts swinging upon power-up. Its small size, low power consumption, and ease of transportation, installation, and use make it highly efficient.
Features
This seismometer broadband is built for broadband seismic monitoring. It stays steady during all kinds of field observations.
Three sensors are packed into one compact unit. One picks up vertical movement, the other two track horizontal vibrations. Inside you'll find complete circuits for feedback, control, power conversion and calibration.
We adopt high-precision capacitive sensors and force-balance feedback tech. It keeps background noise extremely low and captures signals across a broad range.
It has a built-in motor for remote zero checking and adjustment. The integrated calibration coil lets you run calibration work remotely too. It starts working right away once powered on.
Two models cover different frequency ranges. GL-WS60 works from 0.0167Hz to 50Hz. GL-WS120 goes down to 0.0083Hz, ideal for ultra-low frequency signals. It delivers steady sensitivity at 2000V/(m/s) and supports up to ±20V output. Its dynamic range exceeds 140dB. The noise level is even lower than the standard NLNM curve in common frequency bands.
It resists side vibration really well, with interference kept under 1%. The built-in calibration module supports up to 100mA current. Its parasitic resonance stays above 100Hz, so readings won't be disrupted.
It runs on 12V power with just 90mA standby current, saving lots of energy. It works reliably from -20℃ to 40℃, and handles humidity up to 98%.
The whole device is compact. It measures about 240mm wide and 270mm tall. The main unit weighs 12kg, 16kg with packaging. It's light and easy to carry, set up and operate.
You can use it for emergency field surveys, earthquake research, early warning systems and regular monitoring. It also fits landslide, reservoir, coal mine and oilfield vibration detection. It's widely used at seismic stations and regional observation networks.
