The boundary-layer wind profiler radar uses L-band pulse Doppler system, phased array antenna, whole-solid-state transmitter, digital IF receiver and advanced clutter-suppression signal processing technology to realize accurate detection of turbulence echo in atmosphere.
It uses advanced wind data quality control and identification technology to provide secondary meteorological products (such as wind shear and low-altitude jet stream) and improve real-time weather support capability.
