Available in P-band (satellite navigation-based) and L-band configurations, our radiosonde product line is designed to integrate seamlessly with corresponding ground receiving systems for complete upper-air sounding solutions.
Description
Our Weather Radiosondes deliver high-accuracy, multi-parameter atmospheric profiling from ground level to 36 km altitude and slant ranges up to 200 km. Available in P-band (satellite navigation-based) and L-band configurations, our radiosonde product line is designed to integrate seamlessly with corresponding ground receiving systems for complete upper-air sounding solutions.
P-band radiosondes
Based on satellite navaid wind-finding and working with the ground device, P-band radiosonde performs high-precision observation of temperature, pressure, humidity and wind direction and speed from ground to the height of 36km within the range of 200km. There are Beidou and Beidou/GPS radiosondes.
L-band radiosondes
Cooperating with ground L-band receiving device, L-band radiosonde performs high-precision observation of temperature, pressure, humidity and wind direction and speed from ground to the height of 36km within the range of 200km.
Key Features
- It is small and light.
- New-type temperature, humidity and pressure sensors are used to improve sounding quality.

Application fields
Widely adopted across diverse practical sectors, our radiosondes act as essential core supplies for national meteorological observation networks, delivering layered atmospheric data to fuel daily weather research, numerical forecasting and long-term climate data recording. They also offer vital wind and atmospheric condition references to secure civil aviation flight scheduling and airport operational safety, furnish multi-altitude meteorological readings to facilitate farmland climate monitoring and crop safety protection, supply key upper-air information for flood prediction and water basin regulation, and support environmental teams in studying pollutant spread and handling sudden ecological incidents. What sets our radiosondes apart lies in their practical and user-friendly design: equipped with both P-band and L-band versions, they fit perfectly with mainstream ground receiving devices without extra adapters. The Beidou and GPS dual-positioning design keeps wind detection stable even under complex signal surroundings. Calibrated through actual double-launch field tests, their measured data fits real working conditions far better than lab-only test results. They maintain graded high-precision pressure detection adapting to different flight altitudes, and are perfectly tailored to match our self-developed sounding radar and ground station systems, achieving smooth overall linkage and consistently outstanding data performance in every actual observation mission.
Why Choose Our Weather Radiosondes
Our Weather radiosondes deliver outstanding practical performance suited for real field observation work. Featuring both P-band and L-band models, they can work seamlessly with most mainstream ground receiving devices without needing extra adapters or causing any signal loss. The P-band dual positioning version adopts Beidou and GPS dual satellite systems, which can keep steady wind detection running smoothly even when single satellite signals are unstable in complex field environments. Different from simple laboratory calibration, its wind measurement accuracy is verified through actual double balloon launch tests, fully conforming to real on-site operating conditions. In terms of atmospheric pressure detection, it adopts hierarchical precise calibration according to different altitudes, maintaining ±1.0 hPa accuracy in conventional altitude areas and reaching up to ±0.5 hPa in key high-altitude zones, perfectly meeting the high-precision data demands for troposphere and stratospheric research. Moreover, these sondes are professionally customized to match our self-developed L-band sounding radar and Beidou GPS ground station equipment, enabling smooth whole-system signal transmission and stable high-quality data output throughout the entire atmospheric sounding process.
