Description
The laser windfinding radar is a photoelectric instrument which uses Doppler effect of laser backscattering of aerosol particles drfting with windto measure wind feld distribution. Under servo contro,the l aser scans aerosol particles in atmosphere for three-dimensional measurementowind field. The sequence of radial velocity in laser sight direction is identified via Doppler shift generated by aerosol movement. Using thesequence,the wind field distribution can be obtained by retrieval.
