The Wind Profiler Radar is a professional meteorological radar purpose-built for near-surface atmospheric boundary layer wind field detection. It performs real-time, continuous profiling of horizontal wind speed, wind direction, and vertical airflow from 100 m above ground level to 3 km altitude, delivering stable upper-air wind field observation data for meteorological operations. The system supports both fixed-station and mobile deployment, adapting to diverse operational scenarios and rapid setup requirements.

 

Features

 

Adopting L-band pulsed Doppler design paired with phased array antenna, this system uses all-solid-state transmitter and digital intermediate frequency receiver. It leverages effective clutter suppression processing to accurately capture turbulence signals within the boundary layer. Embedded algorithms check wind data quality and automatically spot wind shear and low-level jet streams, generating practical meteorological outputs to boost on-site real-time service efficiency. It can be mounted as fixed equipment or fitted onto mobile carriers, easy to set up and put into use in various working locations.
