Phased Array Weather Radar

Phased Array Weather Radar

This is the next-gen weather gear. It uses phased array antenna tech to probe the atmosphere with crazy high time and space resolution.
Unlike old mechanical-scan radars, this one steers its beam electronically. No spinning dish. No waiting around. It finishes a full 3D scan in under a minute. That’s how we catch sudden weather like hail, tornadoes, and heavy rain right as they pop up. We can spot them early and send out real-time warnings.

Description

This is the next-gen weather gear. It uses phased array antenna tech to probe the atmosphere with crazy high time and space resolution.

Unlike old mechanical-scan radars, this one steers its beam electronically. No spinning dish. No waiting around. It finishes a full 3D scan in under a minute. That's how we catch sudden weather like hail, tornadoes, and heavy rain right as they pop up. We can spot them early and send out real-time warnings.

What makes it stand out? It's got a huge dynamic range. Super sensitive. Digital beams you can tweak on the fly. Low side lobes, so it ignores garbage signals. Scanning strategies are totally flexible. It's rock-solid reliable, easy to keep up and running.

We cranked the peak transmit power up to at least 1280W. That means it sees farther and sharper. Better detection power. More accurate data.

Features

We use linear frequency modulation for spectrum resources, so we get narrower bandwidth, lower sidelobes, and cleaner transmit signals even with the same pulse width and repetition rate. The radar itself is built around a 1D digital active phased array, fully solid-state with all-digital, fully coherent transmit and receive, plus pulse Doppler and dual-polarization capability. No moving parts to wear out, no high-voltage tubes to worry about-just steady, reliable operation. When the beam tilts off boresight, beamwidth, antenna gain, and pointing accuracy can shift and throw off your data, so we calibrate and correct those effects to keep every reading accurate. You've got full control over how the radar works: narrow or wide transmit paired with narrow receive, single or multi-beam modes, adjustable resolution and pulse compression ratio, plus beam multiplexing. You can tweak these settings and optimize the data format to get the most out of this phased array design.

Application fields

This phased array weather radar takes up little space and spins through scans at high speed with precise detection capability. It tracks sudden heavy rain, hail and typhoon activity to deliver accurate weather alerts. It covers low-altitude areas missed by large-scale conventional radars. The device serves daily operations of meteorological observation, water resource management, disaster response and weather modification work.

Why Choose Our Phased Array Weather Radar

This phased array weather radar is next-level gear built for fast-changing, unpredictable weather. It uses electronic beam steering instead of a spinning dish, so it finishes a full 3D scan in under a minute. No waiting around, no moving parts to wear out. That's how we catch sudden hail, tornadoes, and heavy rain right as they start, and get warnings out fast.

It's packed with smart tech that makes it stand out. We use linear frequency modulation to keep the spectrum tight, with low sidelobes and clean transmit signals. The 1D digital active phased array is all solid-state, fully digital, fully coherent, with pulse Doppler and dual-polarization. No high-voltage tubes, just steady, reliable operation. We calibrate beam shifts off boresight to keep data accurate, even when the beam moves. You get full control over how it works: narrow or wide transmit paired with narrow receive, single or multi-beam modes, adjustable resolution and pulse compression, plus beam multiplexing. Tweak settings to fit any scenario.

The specs back it up too. It hits a peak transmit power of at least 1280W, with a 60km quantitative range, 30m range resolution, and ≤1.5° beamwidth. The wide dynamic range, high sensitivity, and low sidelobes mean it ignores clutter and picks up clean signals. It's compact and fast, perfect for filling in the low-level gaps conventional radars miss.

It's made for the jobs that matter most. It tracks sudden downpours, hail, and typhoons with precision. It supports meteorological monitoring, water resource management, disaster response, and weather modification work. It's built to be reliable, low-maintenance, and ready to help you stay ahead of the weather.
