Lightning Protection Device

This is a cutting-edge lightning protection product. It abandons the traditional "divert lightning to ground" design and delivers all-round lightning protection for all kinds of sites.

 

The device is fitted with an induction array lightning rod and a composite discharger with dielectric blocking and strong ionization functions. It makes full use of the electric field of thunderclouds to generate passive strong ionization.

 

The discharger produces high-concentration plasma and spreads it toward the area between thunderclouds and the ground. It neutralizes the cloud charges that traditional lightning rods would attract. The space between thunderclouds and the ground acts like a capacitor. After charge neutralization, this capacitor can never build up enough voltage to trigger lightning leaders. That means direct lightning strikes are prevented fundamentally.

 

 

No lightning diversion to ground - our core strength Traditional lightning rods draw lightning straight down to the ground. A single strike brings tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of amperes of current, which carries huge risks. Our product works differently. The operating current stays at the microampere level during protection. It never leads lightning to the ground, offering excellent safety for both equipment and people.

 

Extremely wide protection coverage Conventional lightning rods only have a protection angle of around 45 degrees and a small coverage radius. You have to install many units to cover a large area. Our device features an 86° protection angle, with a total coverage angle of 172°. Its protection radius equals 14 times the height difference of the installation position. One single unit can cover far more ground than traditional products.

 

No secondary electromagnetic hazards or step voltage Since no heavy current flows into the ground, there will be no destructive strong magnetic fields or high induced voltage in the surrounding area. Issues like backflash voltage and step voltage are completely eliminated. It keeps microelectronic devices, communication systems, people and livestock safe all the time.

 

Low requirement for grounding resistance Traditional lightning protection demands grounding resistance below 10 ohms. In mountainous areas or places with poor soil conditions, teams have to spend extra time and money on complicated resistance reduction work. Our device is barely affected by grounding resistance. It works stably even in mountain regions with grounding resistance up to thousands of ohms, and no extra grounding improvement is needed.

 

Built-in intelligent monitoring system Equipped with independent data modules and dedicated sensors, the device transmits data wirelessly in real time. It tracks lightning protection status, device location, voltage, ambient temperature and battery voltage. You can remotely check the running data and review historical records during thunderstorms, and frequent on-site inspections are no longer necessary.

 

Military-grade durability for harsh environments The main body is fully passive and comes with all-round salt spray resistance. Its surface treatment complies with the national military standard WJ463-1995. It runs reliably in temperatures ranging from -60℃ to +65℃. Whether it is freezing highlands, scorching areas or windy and salty coastal zones, the device works steadily all year round.
