Pipe Leakage Monitoring System
AI deep learning neural network algorithms are used to improve the accuracy of water hammer, pipe burst, and leak event identification, reducing false alarms and missed alarms. For water transmission pipelines, the monitoring sections are spaced approximately 13 km apart; for municipal networks, the monitoring sections are spaced approximately 0.81-1.5 km apart.
Description
High-frequency pressure sensors detect pressure fluctuations within the pipe in real time, and an adaptive recognition algorithm identifies water hammer and negative pressure waves generated by pipe bursts and leaks. High-sensitivity hydrophones detect acoustic signals generated by leaks in real time. Time difference of arrival (TDOA) is used to locate water hammer, pipe bursts, and leaks, and a multi-path network algorithm enhances the location accuracy for complex topology networks.

Features
This system uses high-frequency pressure sensors, super-sensitive hydrophones, a remote control unit (RDAU), a power supply, and a full control center setup. The RDAU has extra ports so you can plug in flow meters, water quality sensors, and more, all into the same monitoring system.
We've got a keep-alive heartbeat link. If the connection drops, the system fixes itself automatically. When the network comes back, it sends all the missing data again-nothing gets lost. It samples in real time at 16-bit resolution, up to 50 kHz. You can hook up multiple pressure sensors, hydrophones, flow meters, and level gauges all at once.
It does basic processing right on the device, so your cloud servers don't get overloaded. It uses both Beidou/GPS and NTP clocks, so every device in the network stays perfectly synced. The cloud relay engine works even through local networks, so it can handle lots of data coming in all at once.
Every piece of data has a timestamp. You can set it to send data non-stop, or at set times. You can tweak how often it samples and when it sends data. On the hardware side, it has 32GB of storage, enough for 60 days of saved data. It runs on 9–36V power, and you can add an optional rechargeable lithium battery.
Application fields
It is suitable for monitoring water hammer, pipe bursts, and leaks in oil, heat, water, and municipal pipelines. It is applicable to ductile iron pipes, steel pipes, plastic pipes, and concrete pipes, with minimal impact from pipe material. By the end of 2024, it had been applied to over 30,000 km of oil pipelines, approximately 1,000 km of water pipelines, and 300 km of municipal pipe networks.
Why Choose US
We built this pipeline monitoring system for real-world problems, not just the lab.
We pair high-frequency pressure sensors and ultra-sensitive hydrophones to catch pressure swings and leak noise in real time. Our TDOA and multi-path algorithms pinpoint exactly where water hammer, bursts, or leaks are happening, even in complex, twisty networks. We added AI deep learning to tell real events apart from noise, cutting false and missed alarms way down.
We space stations 13 km apart for long transmission lines, and just 0.81–1.5 km for tight municipal grids. It works on every pipe material you'll see-ductile iron, steel, plastic, concrete-hardly anything throws it off.
The hardware and software are built to keep running no matter what. Keep-alive links fix themselves. Data retransmits when the network comes back. It samples at 50 kHz, syncs every device with Beidou/GPS and NTP, and caches 60 days of data on 32GB storage.
By the end of 2024, it was already proven on 30,000+ km of oil pipelines, 1,000 km of water lines, and 300 km of municipal networks. It doesn't just look good on paper-it's out there working, keeping pipelines safe and problems small.
